Biography Tim Blecke PT,
Clinical Director of Back In Action of Scottsdale Tim Blecke is a 1988 graduate of The Ohio State University with 10 plus years of clinical experience with a primary focus on orthopedic rehabilitation with an emphasis and passion for treating spinal dysfunctions, cervical related headaches/dizziness and vestibular issues. He has worked closely with The Cleveland Clinic’s department of neurology in the treatment of cervicogenic dizziness, and The Cleveland Clinic headache and pain center in the treatment of migraine related conditions Tim believes that in order to effectively treat an individual’s injury it is imperative to find the root cause of the problem on the first visit and progress with an individualized and specific treatment program that will correct the cause of the problem. “Therapy is not giving a patient a hot pack and a group of cookie exercises with the hope that the injury will feel better in 4 to 6 weeks.” Further, Tim also understands that empowering individuals in the treatment process through extensive education and individualized home exercise programs. This results in the patient returning to their lifestyle more quickly, healthier and with the knowledge to help prevent future recurrences Tim’s extensive training and work experience under McKenzie certified therapists allows him to treat the most challenging back and neck injuries efficiently and effectively. The McKenzie method of spinal assessment has been shown by research to be one of the most reliable techniques when treating spinal conditions. Tim believes, “The key is to find the source of the pain quickly, gain the patient’s trust by making them feel better from the first visit, continued progress toward their return to health, and ongoing education to prevent setbacks in healing.” This philosophy and knowledge along with state of the art technology that can only be found at Back in Action of Scottsdale is what sets us apart from any other physical therapy clinic in the valley. |
