Keith W. Fandry

PT, DPT
Clinical Director of Back in Action Scottsdale

Keith graduated from Andrews University of Michigan where he earned his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. He completed his clinical training at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic in Sports and Orthopedic Rehabilitation. While at the clinic he was exposed to the latest evidence based practice in Orthopedic Rehabilitation. Keith has completed the majority of his postgraduate training in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy with the McKenzie Institute. His additional training took place at the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.

Throughout his professional career Keith has dedicated his clinical practice to helping individuals overcome functional impairments, orthopedic injuries, and post surgical rehabilitation. He continues to stay current with the latest in evidence based clinical evaluation and treatment. Keith is motivated by seeing individuals return to the activities they love to do. This is consistently proven through his incredible record of patient success.

In addition to clinical practice Keith participates in road cycling competitions. He also likes to play guitar and thoroughly enjoys watching and participating in athletics of all types. Keith also volunteers for mission trips in his free time, recently returning from Honduras where he was part of an orthopedic medical team.

 

Kinga O Laskay

PTA, BS
Physical Therapist Assistant Back in Action Scottsdale

Kinga graduated from Gateway Community College where she earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. She then continued on to pursue her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Grand Canyon University. Kinga has over 12 years of clinical experience. She has advanced knowledge in general orthopedics and in orthopedic rehabilitation of the spine with a certification in segmental spinal stabilization. In addition to physical therapy, Kinga’s interests include general health and wellness which she incorporates into her practice.

In her spare time Kinga enjoys spending quality time with her family and participating in community outreach programs.

 

Lana Upshur

Program Director Back in Action Scottsdale

Lana has been an essential part of the Back in Action team for over four years. While her official title is Program Director, she is in charge of BIA’s Scheduling, Marketing and Billing Departments. Lana runs business operations for Back in Action on daily basis, and regularly attends seminars regarding billing regulations and patient rights.

Lana believes in creating an environment that makes physical therapy an enjoyable experience for all of our patients, and she will usually be the first smiling face you see when coming to our clinic. In her free time, Lana loves to hike, dance, and spend time with family and friends.
